SMEClabs Student Terms and Conditions

  1. Enrollment and Registration: By enrolling in any course offered by SMEClabs, the student agrees to abide by the terms and conditions outlined herein. Admission is complete only upon payment of the required fees and submission of all necessary documentation (ID proof, last course completion certificate, or mark list.)
  2. Course Fees: The student agrees to pay all applicable fees for the course [ Elected Course ]as outlined in the course registration materials. The fee has to be paid in installments every month without fail before the 20th of every month. Fees are non-refundable once the course has commenced for more than 5 days.

  4. Attendance and Punctuality: Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes (Technical/lab/Soft skills/Placement preparation), be punctual, and maintain their batch timings. Students should maintain a minimum 80% attendance. Attendance with ratings and feedback should be marked daily via the QR scanner which will be provided in the classrooms. Excessive absenteeism without intimation may result in dismissal from the course without any
    refund.
  5. Leave : All leaves have to be applied via an online leave request form (https://apply.smeclabs.com/student-leave-form/) which will be provided in classrooms and the same should be informed to the Department Head
  6. Code of Conduct:Students are expected to conduct themselves professionally and adhere to the code of conduct outlined by SMEClabs.Any form of disruptive behaviour may result in disciplinary action, including dismissal from the course without any fee refund.
  7. Academic Integrity: Plagiarism, cheating, and other forms of academic dishonesty are strictly prohibited. Any student found engaging in academic misconduct may face disciplinary measures, including expulsion from the course.

  9. Course Materials: Course materials provided by SMEClabs are for personal use only and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.
  10. Confidentiality: Students may have access to confidential information during the course. It is the responsibility of the student to maintain the confidentiality of such information.
  11. Changes to Course Schedule:SMEClabs reserves the right to change the course schedule, curriculum, or faculty without prior notice.
  12. Course Amendment: All course amendments (Course change) will be accepted within 2 weeks of course commencement.
  13. Termination of Enrolment: SMEClabs reserves the right to terminate the enrolment of any student for reasons including but not limited to academic performance, violation of policies, or disruptive behaviour.
  14. Refund Policy: Refund policies are outlined in the SMEClabs refund policy document, available upon request. No refund will be provided after 5 days of class commencement.
  15. Grievance Procedure: Students with concerns or grievances should follow the grievance procedure outlined by SMEClabs. Contact the admin department for all concerns (9072997555), mail [email protected], or the suggestion box at the front office.
  16. Placement: We are not blatantly guaranteeing 100% placement assurance but 100% placement support as per our placement norms which are provided in the Annexure attached.
